Baggage Handling System MSC Miami Cruise Terminal

The project includes the structural design and detailing of the primary steel framing system supporting the baggage handling equipment, along with the design of all associated connections between framing elements and the required interface connections to the existing terminal structure. A significant aspect of the design involves the development of suspended support connections to the existing terminal roof framing, requiring careful evaluation of the capacity and behavior of the existing structural members. Additional engineering considerations include the design of anchorage systems, base plates, and support connections to the existing concrete slab.
